Dr. Muhammed Khalid Naseen Chishti

Dr Khalid Chishti is a consultant brain and spine surgeon with more than 30 years of experience. His initial medical training was from Dow Medical College, University of Karachi in Pakistan. In 1982 he went to United Kingdom where after obtaining his General Surgery fellowships from Royal College of Surgeons Edinburgh and Royal College of Surgeons and Physicians Glasgow he joined North Manchester General Hospital and Booth Hall Children Hospital. He completed his training in adult and Paedriatic neurosurgery in these institutions and obtained his Intercollegiate Neurosurgery fellowship from Royal College of Surgeons Edinburgh in 1989.

He then returned to Pakistan in 1991 and joined Aga Khan University Hospital as Head of Department of Neurosurgery. This is tertiary hospital catering for a population of 20 million. Here he gained extensive experience in dealing with adult and Paedriatic complicated case which were referred from whole of Pakistan and Afghanistan.

In 2008 he came to Dubai and joined Al Rashid Hospital as a Trauma Neurosurgeon where he stayed for 5 years.

His special interest is brain tumors, aneurism and AVM, hydrocephalus, craniosynostosis with all type of cranial trauma. In spine he has extensive experience in degenerative spinal disease, spinal tumors, infections and spinal dysraphism.
