Dr. Munir Ahmad

Dr. Munir Ahmed, a graduate from Nishter Medical College Multan, Pakistan in 1987. After graduation he worked in number of different Hospitals in North-West of England in different specialties. He obtained Fellowship in General Surgery from Royal College of physician & Surgeons of Glasgow then he worked as senior practitioner in Accident and Emergency departments in England and gained very valuable experience in all medical disciplines.

He moved to Family Practice in 2001 and gained certificate of prescribed experience in General Medical Practice from JCPTGP London on August 2004. During this period, he obtained a Diploma in family planning from Faculty of Family Planning and reproductive Health care of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists – London.

He is currently working as Senior General Medical Practitioner (Managing Director) at The Alexander House Health Centre Platt Bridge, Wigan Lancashire UK since 2005.

While still working at Medicentres polyclinic in Dubai, he is committed to provide family oriented General Medical services to the local communities parallel with the principle set by family medicine model of United Kingdom.

He deals with all acute and chronic medical illness in Families related to General Practice.ie baby check, immunization, travel advice, smoking cession, chronic disease (ischemic heart disease, Asthma, Chronic pulmonary obstructive disease, hypertensive disease, Diabetes).
