Dr. Navid Sharifzadeh

Dr. Navid Sharifzadeh is a highly skilled specialist in Periodontology and dental implant surgery, with a strong focus on soft tissue management around teeth and implants. After completing his DDS degree in 2003, Dr. Sharifzadeh worked as a general dentist for a decade before pursuing his passion for periodontics and dental implant surgery. He completed his residency program in periodontology and dental implant surgery at the University of Southern California (USC), where he received his master of science (MSc) in Oral and Craniofacial biology. Dr. Sharifzadeh has achieved board certification in Periodontology and dental implant surgery, and received the prestigious Diplomate status in 2016 from the American Board of Periodontology. He has authored book chapters on soft tissue procedures around dental implants and complications in dental implants in the esthetic zone. Additionally, he lectures nationally and internationally on advanced dental implant surgery and periodontal regenerative therapy. Dr. Sharifzadeh is a member of several professional organizations including the American Academy of Periodontology, and has founded IMPACT educational platform.
