Dr. Nurgul Fayyad

Dr. Nurgul is a German Board Specialist in Obstetrics and Gynaecology and graduated from the University of Saarland, Germany.

Prior to moving to the U.A.E. in 2012, Dr. Nurgul worked in St. Vinzenz-Hospital in Dinslaken, Germany. She worked with a spectrum of conservative and operative gynaecology, oncology, obstetrics and breast diseases. Since the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology is a teaching hospital for diagnostic and operative laparoscopy/hysteroscopy and urogynaecology, Dr. Nurgul was performing almost all kinds of laparoscopic surgery there.

As a perinatal center level 2 with about 1040 deliveries per year, Dr. Nurgul was in charge for the delivery room, monitoring high-risk pregnancies and managing high-risk deliveries in obstetrics. Her favorite was the water birth delivery which is very famous in Germany. During her residency training in St. Bernhard –Hospital in Northrhine, Germany, Dr. Nurgul developed her skills in epidural anaesthesia in obstetrics as well.

Furthermore, Dr. Nurgul was in charge of outpatients with uterus-/vaginal prolapse and urinary incontinence problems and in cooperation with interdisciplinary working doctors, she could develop individual treatment strategies, such as vaginal hysterectomy, vaginal wall repair etc. An innovative procedure such as “Nova sure” for endometrium ablation was also practiced by herself.

Dr. Nurgul assisted different oncological operations and treated patients with malignant tumors before and after the operation. Since she was regularly attending the “ Tumor Conference” in cooperation with Bethanien Hospital Moers, further oncological treatments such as chemotherapy were performed all by herself. In addition, Dr. Nurgul was a lecturer at the Nursing School of St. Bernhard Hospital in Northrhine, Germany. Dr. Nurgul delivers and performs surgeries in an American hospital, Zahra hospital and Medcare hospital in Dubai.

She is a member of the Aerz tekammer in Düsseldorf, Germany, and Association of professionals in Gynaecology, BVF Berufsverband der Frauenärzte e.V. in München, Germany.
