Dr. Saajan Ignatius Pius completed his MBBS from the Government Medical College, Kozhikode (Calicut) in 2006 and his MS General Surgery from the Government Medical College, Trivandrum in 2013 in Kerala, India.He got MRCS from the Royal college of Surgeons,England in 2019. He had undergone training for Laparoscopic and Robotic surgery as well as Upper GI Endoscopy training and has achieved his Fellowship and Diploma in Minimal Access Surgery (FMAS/DMAS) from the World Laparoscopy Hospital, Gurgaon, Delhi in 2016. He was awarded the Best Out Going Student during his stint at WLH, Gurgaon, Delhi.

Dr. Saajan is a life member of a number of surgical associations across the world. He has presented papers and participated in advanced surgical training and workshops at several conferences globally.
