Obtained Masters of Sciences (Physiology) and Doctor of Medicine from the American University of Beirut, then completed Residency in Neurological Surgery at the American University of Beirut - Medical Center, with wide exposure to all diseases that involve the central and peripheral nervous systems and vast experience in surgeries on all types of brain and spine pathologies, all under the supervision of outstanding neurosurgery professors.

Joined the University of Texas - MD Anderson Cancer Center for a clinical fellowship in Neurosurgical Oncology, including surgery on all kinds of brain and spine tumors under the supervision of world-leading neurosurgeons in the field of oncology, headed by Professor Raymond Sawaya.

Practiced modern neurosurgery in several tertiary care medical centers and university hospitals in Lebanon for 18 years, with special emphasis on brain and spine tumors, keeping up with emerging modern advancements in Neurosurgery, new techniques and approaches in brain and spine surgery and continuous basic and clinical academic updates.

Moved to Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in 2015 to chair the division of Neurosurgery in Al-Ahsa Hospital, and gain experience in the Gulf. Moved in 2018 to United Arab Emirates as Consultant and head of the Neurosurgery Department at Zulekha Hospital-Dubai, to found a modern Neurosurgery service.
