Dr. Samer Obeidat

Dr Samer Obeidat is a highly accomplished Consultant Urological Surgeon with a wealth of knowledge and experience of over 14 years. Fluent in both Arabic and English, Dr  Obeidat is British Board Certified (CCT-UK) with outstanding clinical and operative skills. He practices his specialty with the utmost care, expertise and compassion, taking a personalized approach towards medicine.

Graduating from the prestigious Jordan University of Science and Technology in 2004, Dr Obeidat joined Mersey Deanery in Liverpool, UK as a speciality trainee, gaining invaluable experience and knowledge in the urology, andrology and uro-oncology field.

His impressive career has been based in Liverpool, UK, having completed fellowships at the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh and of the European board of Urology and worked as one of Royal Liverpool and Broadgreen University Hospitals’ highly skilled consultant urological surgeons. In addition, he was one of their principle laparoscopic surgeons and an honorary lecturer at University of Liverpool. In 2017 he relocated to Dubai and joined American Hospital Dubai as consultant urological surgeon.

Dr Obeidat areas of expertise lie in stone surgery, andrology (including fertility and erectile dysfunction) and Urological cancers, including a subspecialty interest in renal cancer. His interests span across many specialist domains in urology, including but not limited to surgical management of upper tract pathology via laparoscopic and open surgery, stone management and surgery, minimal access surgery and endoscopic procedures and various penoscrotal procedures. Dr Obeidat also possesses training in Robotic Surgery in partial nephrectomy, pyeloplasty and prostatectomies.
