Dr. Samir Hassan Naik

Dr. Samir Naik is one of our experienced Pulmonologists who specializes in various conditions of the Lungs. He was initially trained in India and then moved to the United Kingdom for higher qualification. He has been a pulmonologist for more than 19 years. His areas of expertise include Asthma, COPD, interventional pulmonology, lung fibrosis, lung cancer diagnostics, respiratory infections and obstructive sleep apnoea along with experience in general internal medicine.

Dr. Naik earned his medical degree from Dharwad University of India in 1995. Following that he completed a Diploma in Tuberculosis and Chest diseases through Pune University, India. Later he moved to the United Kingdom and completed his MRCP(UK) followed by Specialist training in Respiratory and General internal medicine through South West London Deanery to get his Certificate of completion of specialist training . Since then he has been working as a Consultant in Respiratory medicine.

He also has been leading the Respiratory department and involved with service and quality improvement projects. He is actively involved with training and has been a Royal College of Physicians Tutor for junior doctor trainees and Physician associates; furthermore he has been very active in studies with publications and presentations in national and international conferences.
