Dr. Sergio Valenti

Dr. Sergio Valenti is a physician with international experience in the field of Urology. He was born on 29th of April 1975 in the city of Bergamo, Italy. As a registered urologist since 2006, he has been taking care of the citizens of Dubai and UAE for the past 4 years. Currently, Dr. Sergio is full time Consultant Urologist at Valiant Clinic Belhoul Lifecare in Dubai as responsible for the Urology Unit. Dr Sergio is also working part time as Consultant Urologist at American Hospital and Galeria Al Barsha clinic in Dubai. Over the years he has made many contributions to the field of Urology and has helped to improve the lives of patients throughout the community. Dr Sergio first became interested in medicine during secondary school. This led him to attend University of Medicine and Surgery of Milan, Italy where he graduated in 2001. Afterward he attended University of Insubria in Varese Italy for his medical training in the field of Urology until 2006.

After four years working as Specialist in Humanitas Gavazzeni Hospital in Bergamo, his attitude and dedication eventually led him to be appointed Consultant Urologist in April 2011. Throughout his career, Dr Sergio had the opportunity to develop endoscopic and surgical skills in both prostate and bladder disease (including Holmium laser enucleation technique for prostate enlargement) and urolithiasis management. He has been trained since 2006 in the laparoscopic management of kidney cancer with both radical and conservative approach. In 2013 he was licensed and boarded as Fellow of European Board of urology (FEBU). He is an active member of the European Association of Urology (EAU).

In 2016, after reaching a satisfying level in his career in his home country, Dr Sergio decided to challenge himself and to take a step forward by adding an international experience in Dubai. As a renowned Urologist, his patients appreciate him for his patience, dedication and attention to detail in each individual case. He hopes he can continue to employ his medical skills in order to further the field of Urology, committing to improve patient wellbeing and inspire the next generation of physicians.
