Dr. Shanawaz Abdul Rasheed

Dr. Shanawaz Abdul Rasheed is a UK board certified Consultant Anaesthesiologist who is highly trained and highly qualified after having gone through extensive training program in UK and India. He has more than 20 years of experience and has worked in several hospitals both in UK and in UAE.

Dr. Shanawaz received his MBBS and MD in Anesthesiology from Madras Medical college, India. He then completed his residency in Anaesthesiology at the Stoke school of Anesthesiology, UK and was awarded CCT in 2013. He has also completed a clinical fellowship in Thoracic, Bariatric and Upper GI anaesthesia at Heart of England NHS foundation trust, UK. He is also a Fellow of Royal College of Anesthetists, London.

Prior to joining Kings College Hospital London, Dr. Shanawaz was a Consultant Anesthesiologist at Tawam Hospital, Al Ain for 3years. Between 2013 and 2017, He worked as a consultant in Anesthesiology and Intensive Care at Heart of England NHS foundation trust, Birmingham and in Burjeel Hospital, Abu Dhabi.

In addition to his clinical practices, Dr. Shanawaz Abdul Rasheed is actively involved in academic activities like teaching medical students and residents and in clinical research programs and publications.

He has authored several publications in Peer-reviewed journals and received several prizes for presentations in academic meetings.
