Dr. Sharmishta Sahu

Dr Misha Sahu is an Australian-trained Consultant Paediatrician.

After graduating with Honours from The University of New South Wales in Sydney, Australia, she completed her Fellowship with the Royal Australian College of Physicians. Much of her extensive paediatric experience was gained at the prestigious Sydney Children’s Hospital. After moving to Dubai with her family in 2012, Dr Sahu worked for Infinity Clinic prior to joining HealthBay.

Dr Misha is a strong advocate of living a healthy lifestyle whilst using preventative care methods. Her special interests lie in newborn care (including the challenges of feeding, sleeping and settling), growth and development, travel care and both simple and complex acute and chronic illnesses.

Dr Misha believes in educating young medical students and is in an active participant in community activities involving patient education. She has confidence in supporting and educating families as they navigate the joys and challenges of parenthood.
