Dr. Suzan Ibrahim Noori

Qualifications
Dr. Noori graduated from the University of Khartoum and went on to complete her clinical doctorate of medicine (MD) from the same University.

She completed her membership from the Royal College of Physician (MRCP) then the fellowship (FRCP) from the Royal College of Physician of Edinburgh and become the Multiple Sclerosis Certified Specialist (MSCS) from Multiple Sclerosis (MS) Consortium, USA.

Let she also completed as Post Graduate certificate in Multiple Sclerosis practice (PGCMS) from Leeds Metropolitan University, UK, where is also currently registered for her Master’s Degree program in Multiple Sclerosis.

Experience
Dr. Noori has extensive experience in the practice of Neurology and Clinical Neurophysiology including Epilepsy, Movement Disorder, Stroke and peripheral nerve involvement. She also specializes in Multiple Sclerosis and related diseases; leukodystrophies; and Neurogenetics and is an expert in both central and peripheral white matter disorders.

Prior to joining University Hospital Sharjah, Dr. Noori was Consultant Neurologist and Specialist for Multiple Sclerosis in Rashid Hospital, Dubai, where she was nominated for the Dubai Government Excellence Programme (DGEP) for distinguished government employee.

She also heads the scientific committee of UAE Multiple Sclerosis support group, for which she was also awarded for raising awareness.

She is an active member of the various national and international associations including: American Academy of Neurology (MAAN), Emirates Neurological Society (ENS), International League against Epilepsy (ILAE), European Neurological Society, Emirates Multiple Sclerosis Society (MSSG), and Multiple Sclerosis International Federation.

Dr. Noori published her work in international journals and presented her experience in several local and international neurology conferences.
