Dr. Teresa Grigoleit

Dr. Teresa Grigoleit is a German qualified General Practitioner with substantial knowledge and experience in General & Family Medicine.

Dr. Teresa graduated in 2012 from the Faculty of Medicine „Georg- August University“ in Göttingen (Germany) after successfully finishing 6 years of Medical Training. She subsequently received her Ph.D., after spending 5 years at the Chronic Pain Clinic (University Medical Centre Göttingen) to finish her research and completing her thesis on dealing with patients having non- specific chronic low back pain.

Dr. Teresa was previously based in Germany working on Internal Medicine and Intensive Care Units. In this position, Dr. Teresa was in touch with almost all kinds of illnesses, not only focused on Internal Medicine but also dealing with Orthopaedic & Trauma issues. She was further responsible for detecting Ear-Nose-Throat, Urology and Obstetrics/ Gynecology needs.

Having moved to Dubai, she obtained her License as a General Practitioner from Dubai Health Authority in November 2016. However, this is not her first experience in Dubai, having already been here as early as 2009 and having completed a number of voluntary internships at Dubai Hospital (Abdominal Surgery Department & ICU Department). From 2012 – 2014, she was responsible for managing well known private clinics both in Dubai and Abu Dhabi and has subsequently gained an extensive knowledge of the UAE healthcare sector through dealing with the DHA, MOH, and HAAD, as well as through working with the most prevalent and dominant insurance companies.

Having completed training, not only in Germany but also in Dubai and Shanghai (Shanghai East Hospital, China) Dr. Teresa received a very good perspective of the different medical understanding in diverse areas of the world.

Dr. Teresa is happy to perform primary medical examinations, investigations, and treatments of non- emergency and emergency health problems, as well as dealing with chronic diseases and illnesses. She also provides routine health checks and health risk assessments.
