Dr. Thomas Berger

Dr. Thomas Berger is German Board Certified Consultant Dermatologist and Allergologist. He received his training at the University Hospital of Erlangen, Germany, where he did extensive clinical and experimental skin cancer research. He holds a Ph.D. in Melanoma Treatment and is an active faculty member of the University.

Prior to joining the HealthBay group, Dr. Thomas Berger was the Head of Department of Dermatology at Tawam Hospital from 2004 to 2009 and later worked in a private Dermatology Center in Abu Dhabi.

His main areas of expertise include prevention and treatment of skin cancer, including digital mole mapping, skin cancer surgery and laser and light applications. He has also extensive experience in the management of acne, atopic dermatitis, psoriasis and other common skin conditions. In addition, he offers all sorts of aesthetic procedures, including chemical peels, Botulinum toxin, and Filler injections. He is very familiar with all skin types, including Middle Eastern and Asian skin.

In this capacity, he is the regular speaker and trainer for the American Academy of Aesthetic Medicine on topics such as Botox and Fillers in the Middle East and Asia.

In addition to that, Dr. Thomas Berger has the interest in the diagnosis and treatment of allergies. His clinic offers allergy tests (skin prick, blood tests, and patch tests) and offers Allergy Immunotherapy.
