Dr. Walter is a dually qualified Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon from Germany with many years of specialized education in Germany and Austria and additional postgraduate training in Australia, South Africa, Switzerland, the UK and the US.

Dr. Walter graduated in Medicine (MD) at the Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich (Germany) in 1999 and Dentistry (DMD) at the Medical University Vienna (Austria) in 2005. He is a member of the International Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons.

Following his formal training, Dr. Walter completed several clinical fellowships in Aesthetic Facial Surgery & Functional Rhinoplasty in Sydney, Pretoria and Texas, and a clinical fellowship at the Department of General Surgery at the University of Glasgow.

Dr. Walter served as specialist registrar at the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery of the Private University Salzburg (PMU) and the University Hospital of Zürich (USZ) between 2005 and 2007. Prior to pursuing private practice in the UAE, he worked as a consultant at the University Hospital of Craniomaxillofacial & Oral Surgery in Innsbruck.

As an Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon, Dr. Walter covers all aspects of oral and dental surgical procedures (such as removal or exposure of impacted teeth, periradicular surgeries, periodontal surgeries, surgical orthodontic procedures, treatment of soft/hard tissue tumours, etc.).

He is an expert in dental rehabilitation of complex cases via implants with immediate loading protocols, full mouth rehabilitation with implants (All-on-4 and All-on-6), and high-end digital implantology in compromised jaws utilizing 3D-guided implant surgery. He performs different types of pre-prosthetic bone augmentation techniques for upper and lower jaws when necessary.

Dr. Walter holds a license for performing surgical procedures under general anesthesia.
