Dr. Jamil Akhras

Dr. Jamil Akhras, Consultant Gastroenterologist, joined Mediclinic City Hospital after practicing in the U.S. and Syria. His expertise is in all areas of gastroenterology and endoscopy including but not limited to upper and lower endoscopy, ERCP (Endoscopic Retrograde Pancreato-Cholangiography), EUS (Endoscopic Ultrasound), capsule endoscopy, liver and pancreato-biliary disease. Dr. Jamil is also American Board Certified in Gastroenterology, Internal Medicine and by the American Board of Nutrition Physician Specialists. He is a Fellow of the American College of Physician, Fellow of the American College of Gastroenterology, Fellow of the American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, and Fellow of the American Gastroenterological Association.
