Kamal Punia Dasani

Dr. Kamal Punia Dasani is the Head of Occupational Therapy at the Child Early Intervention Medical Center in Dubai Healthcare City. Dr. Dasani is a graduate of Curtin University of Technology in Perth, Western Australia, and has been practicing Occupational Therapy since 2006, specializing in pediatric services and Vision Therapy. Dr. Dasani has worked in clinical and community settings as an Occupational Therapist and Applied Behavior Analysis Therapist, providing services in Australia, Hong Kong, China and Dubai. Experiences include working in mental health, hand therapy, elderly health care as well as clinic and school based pediatric disability services. During her career she has worked with children who have had a vast range of needs and conditions predominantly being; Cerebral Palsy, Down Syndrome, Autism and Attention Deficit Disorder. Dr. Dasani has presented trainings at conferences and in clinical settings in China and Dubai, educating parents, clinicians and teachers about Occupational Therapy and how it can benefit children with special needs.
