Dr. Mohammed-Sheikh Sobeh

Dr. Sobeh Qualified, trained and worked as a Vascular, endovascular and Transplant Surgeon with more than 35 years of experience in General, Vascular & Transplant Surgery.

He did his undergraduate training and qualified from the University of Bristol in 1982. He is accredited by the Specialist Training Authority (STA) in General Surgery with sub-specialist interest in Vascular Surgery. He was appointed as a consultant in general, vascular and renal transplant surgeon between 1998 – 2007 at The Royal London and St. Bartholomew Hospitals.

He was amongst the early pioneers in endovascular surgery and has large experience in the treatment of open surgical and endovascular procedures.

He has major interest, research and publications in the subjects of vascular restenosis and endovascular surgery which have been presented and published in prestigious international conferences and medical journals.

He has been a designated trainer in endovascular surgery for local, regional and international candidates.

He contributed in many local, regional and international meetings.

He has large experience in the treatment of acute and chronic arterial, lymphatic, and venous diseases including treatments of varicose veins using Venaseal (glue) closure, laser, radiofrequency and sclerotherapy.

He has international reputation and cared for patients in many countries throughout the world.

He is a founding partner of Dubai Health care City and established Dr Sobeh’s Clinic in 2005 in Dubai Healthcare City, Dubai, Sobeh’s Vascular and Medical Day Surgery Centre in 2013 in Dubai Healthcare City, Dubai and Sobeh’s Medical Centre in Muscat, Oman.
