Dr. Moosa Kazim

Dr. Kazim received his training at one of the most prestigious North American residency programs – the University of Western Ontario, Canada. He has specialty training under world renowned doctors such as Dr. Peter Fowler, Dr. Richard Hawkins, and Dr. Sigvard Hansen.

He also trained with a top-notch diabetic foot care doctor – Dr. John Bowker at the University of Miami, and served as assistant professor as well. Over the next decade Dr. Kazim practiced in the Washington DC area as a sub-specialist in sports medicine. He moved to Dubai in 1996, and in 2000 founded Orthosports Medical Center. He has remained active in education, lecturing, contributing to academic literature, and practices all aspects of orthopaedic and sports medicine/surgery using unique techniques such as:

• Large and small joint arthroscopy for a variety of surgeries – including ACL knee reconstruction and specialised procedures on articular cartilage.
• Specialised shoulder surgery – including arthroscopy, arthroscopic rotator cuff repair, and shoulder arthroplasty (joint replacement).
• Hip surgery including hip arthroscopy and replacement arthroplasty.
• Specialised reconstructive surgery of the foot and ankle.
