Further, She follows the principles of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) with her clients which is an umbrella term for using different forms of techniques during sessions, but allowing one thing to be constant, which is, majorly focusing on the present issue. The past is only lightly discussed for the soul purpose of getting a clear picture, in order to understand the roots of the core beliefs.

Her sessions include regular home assignments, based on which, the next one will be moved forward. These tasks along with other techniques play a major role in the process, giving the sessions a system and structure, for example, Homework assignments, Mentally rehearsing a situation, Journaling, Role-playing, Desensitization, Testing beliefs.

Based on the nature of the situation and definitely the client, Humanistic and Existential Psychotherapy are introduced into therapy, instead of CBT, if deemed necessary.
