University Hospital Sharjah

University Hospital Sharjah is an initiative sponsored by His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan Bin Mohammad Al Qassimi, member of the Supreme Council and the Ruler of Sharjah.

The 325 bedded academic medical center is one of the main pillars of the Sharjah Medical Excellence Cluster (SMEC) linking education, training, research and healthcare services. The purpose-built hospital has dedicated Centers of Excellence for several key specialties and super-specialties and brings together a multidisciplinary team of physicians, nurses and health-care professionals able to address the most complex and difficult medical problems.

The hospital has various international affiliations, including with Gustave Roussy one of the worlds’ leading cancer research institutes and the biggest health centre dedicated to oncology in Europe.
