Patient’s Rights

Excellence in medical and dental care is not only our mission and commitment, it is our concern. Our entire focus is on your individual health care needs. Our goal is to respect your dignity and choices. Every patient receives equal attention and equal access to all of our services without any discrimination.
Know by name the physician, nurse and other staff members responsible for your care
Talk openly with your physician about your diagnosis, the treatment prescribed for you, the prognosis of your illness, and any instruction required for the follow up care
Request that your physician communicates in terminology you may reasonably expect to understand
Have your request courteously received and properly considered as quickly as circumstances permit
Be informed of the reason you are given various tests and treatments, and who the persons are who give them to you
Be informed of the general nature and inherent risk of any procedure for which you have given your consent
Change your mind about any procedure for which you have given consent, to refuse treatment and to be informed of the medical consequences of this action
Expect your personal privacy to be respected to the fullest extent consistent with the care prescribed for you and applicable to UAE laws
Expect all communications and other records pertaining to your care to be kept confidential to the extent required by law
Request through your attending physician a second opinion by another physician, to change physicians, or to change hospitals and/or facilities
Participate in ethical discussions that arise in the course of your care
Have impartial access to medical resources indicated for your care without regard to race, nationality, age, gender or disability
Refuse to participate in medical training programs or research projects
Care and treatment in a safe environment
Have pain management in a compassionate manner
Be informed about the outcomes of care, including unanticipated outcomes

Patient’s Responsibilities

Respect Medicentres rules and regulations.
Show consideration for others and deal with other patients and staff with respect.
Respect the privacy and comfort of other patients.
Provide complete and accurate information about present complaints, past illness, previous hospitalization and treatment and any known drug allergy.
Follow the treating doctor’s instructions.
Hold the responsibility for refusing or not following the treatment plan, after being informed of consequences.
Avoid delay in taking appointment from the Appointment Office/ Medical Records Section, as soon as it is requested by the doctor.
Attend the appointment on time. If you want to cancel it, inform the Appointment Office 48 hours in advance.
Respect the priority given to emergency cases.
Observe safety regulations including the no-smoking policy, maintaining the cleanliness of the place, hand hygiene etc…
Ensure that financial obligations due for Medicentres are fulfilled promptly (if any).
Give requested samples and attend medical check up on time.
Avoid bringing valuable personal belongings to the Clinic. Medicentres will not be held responsible for loss of / damage to such belongings.

I cannot even begin to explain my experience at this clinic. No words will fully describe how amazing Dr Aspasia was with me over the last few weeks. From the second I stepped into her office, she made me feel so welcome and at ease. I have never met a doctor who cares so much about her patients. You are not just a number or a patient when in Dr Aspasia's care but a woman who is truly looked after. I couldn't have wished for a better person to take care of me- you really made a bad situation feel so manageable with your supportive nature. I am dental-phobic and have had terrible experiences with dentists in the UK. However, I had a major problem that needed resolving. On recommendation of a friend, I tried Medicentres. Dr Heather fitted me in at short notice and was very kind and reassuring. I managed to get through the treatment without too much trauma. My husband had a similar experience with Dr Waleed when he had a chest infection This is a very well run, highly professional and caring practice.

Seldom do you come across a clinic in Dubai with so much emphasis on patient care. I happened to find Medicenter online and was pleasantly surprised with their Motor City branch. Had a consultation with Dr. Delphine a few weeks back and found her to be highly professional, extremely qualified and very polite to converse with. I've recommended others to Medicenter and hope they continue to uphold such a high standard.

DEAR DOCTORS, I AM SENDING THE MEDICAL REPORTS AND CT SCAN REPORTS. KINDLY HELP ME TO TAKE A DECISION WHICH TREATMENT HAVE TO GO THROUGH. Its really great to know that there is a clinic of this caliber located close by. We live at Dubai Sports City so the proximity of MediCenter couldn’t have been any better. They are a very well run place with an impressive team of qualified physicians. Highly recommend it!

I've was seeing Steve Richardson at the Medicentre at Motor City for a couple of weeks and was been great. They also had a female Osteopath there called Naomi Hart I’ve heard she is good too.

I went to the Medicentres in Motor City and they were fantastic and very reassuring always available on the end of the phone if I had any worries. They also fitted me in between appointments if I had any major concerns.
